About Denis Florist & Flower Delivery
The roots of Denis Florist & Flower Delivery date back to 1935. A true family owned and operated business, Kimberly Denis, now the fourth generation, continues the legacy her great grandparents started. The original shop was located at 101 W. 28th street, the flower market of NYC and was there for over 60 years. Kimberly’s father, Louis Denis left the shop to become a designer at the famous Waldorf Astoria hotel & did flowers for many of the rich and elite that passed through. He was also the personal florist for Leona Helmsley for 7 years and he lives to tell the tale! Lou moved across the GWB and settled in New Milford, NJ where he opened a florist & liquor store called "Wine & Roses". The store became a longtime staple of the community and was there for 30 years. As the ways of doing business evolved and big box stores became the norm, the shop needed change and fresh ideas. Kimberly Denis, a proud IHA and PSU Alumni, decided it was time she came back to the shop she grew up in and keep the family business thriving. As a team, we decided to move our shop to a new location & go back to the family name, Denis Florist & Flower Delivery. We have a great selection of gifts & gourmet baskets in the shop. We also host floral design classes for adults and kids! With her Dad Lou still working with her in the shop and many of the team being there for over 25 years, it is the perfect blend of young youthful energy, ideas, and experience.You can also find us in the following directories:
